Let a new journey start with the start of this month..
So I am new to this blog writing thing but not to the experience sharing. Yes! I travel less but I make sure that the experience of my journey should count. Let me share my recent experience to the adventurous trip of Manali.
Am a Assistant Lecturer in Bundelkhand University. There’s a program in UG and PG courses i.e. Field Trip Report. As being the lady faculty I was there on this trip for my students. Though this was not my first adventure trip but it was my first adventure trip as a teacher. So I was little less excited because -trip to Manali without friends was never my idea.. Now I would like to take you all on this journey with me.
Let me start with the travelling part, though it was tedious but it was enjoyable. The spring like roads were very bad experience for most of my student, they were puking all the way. ut I was normal and that made me think – oh man! I am born for travelling. Anyway we headed to the ABVIM(Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute), Manali. That place was beautiful , all the wooden floor and cozy rooms were perfect for relaxing. As I already mentioned it was an adventure tour I knew it was not going to be easy. There was this huge list of activities which was given to us. The environment was so pleasant that it made me forget about the adventures I was going to have. Next day we went to Solang Valley. It’s heavenly beauty was mesmerizing. White sheet of ice covered the whole area, and the ice was fresh and soft. I ate some of it while walking and I loved it. Next day we went for skiing. The tools which provided to us was double my weight – metallic shoes , skiing board, skiing sticks. It was almost impossible to move my leg for even a small step… Though I managed by looking at my students, they were so excited and joyful and were helping each other to walk. . One of them gave me a hand as well.. We tried skiing for the rest of the day until it started hailing . Later, I enjoyed Maggie with some of students on the roadside tapri. Next day we were stuck and was not able to go back to institute as it was snowing . I spent the rest of the day enjoying with my students. And also celebrated one of the students birthday with the “snow cake.”. It was my kiddish idea though. We went back glaring all the beautiful scenery covered in fresh snow. We did rappelling and rock climbing on the second last day.. .
And next day we were again on those springing roads taking us away from the heaven. This trip was a new experience and a learned about many new things like leadership, motivation, and companionship.
I enjoyed a lot and will always remember this wonderful trip to Manali.
